I indexed it to L series, R series, S Series, A Series, B Series Pickup, Travelall, Travelette and Panels, as well as V, VCO, VF, Fleetstar, and other Cabovers
It was also found in many 1941-1949 K and KB 1-5 trucks
When the locking button is depressed the latch moves, spring detents well.
Should function properly when installed.
You'll have to have a locksmith make you a key or key it to your existing key.
