This specific part number was indexed in MT Books 120, 126, 130, 131, 132 and 133 for 1971-1973 Fleetstar Cabovers, Pickup, Travelall and Travelette with engine serial numbers below 1013196 as well 1971-1980 Scout II, Terra and Traveler with Chassis numbers beginning with G, CGD, DGD
It will likely work with the earlier 196 and 392s as well but please note the part number suffix's are different. IH typically changed only the suffix when small updates were made.
The part number for 69-70 Pickup, Travelall and Travelette 196 and 392 head gaskets is 151455R5
And the part number for 61-71 Scout 80 and 800 196 is 151455R4
Will not work with the improved cooling 392s as those were completely different due to water pump configuration on the block.
